Fees
There is a separate fee schedule available. The cost of meals is included in fees where full fees are paid. For those children receiving 20 ECE hours there is a meal charge required to be paid.
Sessional [4 hours] meal cost morning - $4.50 per session to cover morning tea and lunch
afternoon - $2.50 per session to cover afternoon tea
Part time [6 hours] meal cost - $5.50 per 6 hour session which includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea
Full time [7or more hours] - all meals included
Hours of Enrolment
Sessions - 4 hours - between 7:30-12.00 or 12.30-5.30pm
Part time – 6 hour session - between 8:30am and 3:30pm
A minimum of 6 hours applies if attendance extends after 12.00pm – morning session or before 12.30pm –afternoon session.
20 Hours ECE for 3, 4, 5year olds
20 Hours ECE funded by the Ministry of Education is offered to 3, 4, or 5 year olds enrolled at Morrinsville Kids .
To qualify for this:
· Your child must be aged 3, 4, or 5.
· You must have completed and signed the attestation part of the enrolment form and allocated these hours in full to Morrinsville Kids
· The 20 hours ECE are available for up to 6 hours per day to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
· Note that there is a meal fee payable to cover the cost of food.
Morrinsville Kids provides quality care and education at a level higher than required by the Ministry of Education Regulations. This includes the provision of a higher level of staffing ratios, meals and snacks for all children. The Ministry of Education funding received for 20 ECE hours does not cover the additional cost of providing this quality. We do not ask an optional charge to cover the extra staff costs but do require a meal fee to cover the cost of the nutritious food that your child will receive while at the centre.
Sibling Discounts Discounts are available for families with 2 or more children – a 10% discount is available for the oldest child on fees paid outside of 20 hours ECE if eligible. If you have three children attending the same centre the oldest two will receive the 10% fee discount. Discounts will be withdrawn for accounts not paid in accordance with the payment agreement.
Holiday Discount Holidays are an important time for families. That’s why we offer a holiday discount for 4 weeks per year at 50%. This applies to full weekly bookings. For children enrolled less than a full week, the discount will be applied pro-rata. e.g a child enrolled for 2 days a week will receive 8 days in total at the discounted rate. Two weeks written notice is required [unless you are using this for an emergency closure].
All fees are to be paid in advance when going on holiday, i.e. if on holiday for three weeks the fees, less any eligible discount, must be paid prior to going on holiday or your child’s place at the Centre may be cancelled. Holiday discount is only applicable if fee payments are kept within the payment terms.
Work & Income New Zealand
Some families are entitled to a child-care subsidy from Work & Income New Zealand. For further information please speak to the Manager or visit www.workingforfamilies.govt.nz. Please ensure that you have completed all the necessary paper work to receive your subsidy prior to starting at Morrninsville Kids as full fees are payable until the subsidy is approved and paid to the centre by WINZ
